Atomic DG is an approved Dangerous Goods Consultancy (WA Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety accredited) for assessments and licence applications for storage and handling systems of:
- Class 1 Explosives and Security Risk Substances (ammonium nitrate products)
- The following Classes & Divisions in bulk and package storage:
- Division 2 (flammable, toxic, inert, and oxidising gases)
- Class 3 (flammable liquid) and combustible liquid
- Division 4 (flammable solid, spontaneously combustible and “dangerous when wet” substances)
- Division 5 (oxidisers)
- Division 6.1 (toxic substances)
- Class 8 (corrosives)
- Class 9 (miscellaneous dangerous goods and articles)
DG assessments and licence applications are only a fraction of what we do. Atomic DG also assists clients with technical writing (Emergency Response Plans, Explosives Management Plans, and Security Plans, to name a few), DG drawings, advice and opinions on DG storage and handling systems, site inspections, and project development.

Atomic DG is led by Tim Norris, a mechanical engineer with a background in oil & gas (offshore and on), project management, and dangerous goods consulting. As a DG Consultant, Tim has advised clients ranging from small businesses to majors such as Woodside, BHP, BP, Air Liquide, GE Global, and Verve.
